Lapland Sales & Marketing OÜ (”LSM”) have always considered the safe and secure processing of our clients personal data a priority. We strive to follow all the rules and regulations and we also follow any changes and news regarding personal data protection.
We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We do not use your information for anything else than taking care of and effecting your orders on our Website.
In order to provide our services, we collect data in two ways:
1./ You subscribe to LSM´s services, for example news letter, or you would like to obtain information. Then you may submit data such as name, company, title and e-mail address.
2./ You make an order on LSM´s website and we ask you for your contact and payment information, that is relevant for us in order to register you as a client, and also to be able to handle your order/purchase with us.
The only information we give out, is your delivery information. That is the contact information, required for sending your order to your adress or to a delivery point (your pick up point) of the transporters choice.
Processing personal data related to you is necessary for providing our services. Without processing personal data, we cannot start the required service to you and fulfil related duties.
In order to use our service, we need your consent for processing the personal data for the above mentioned purposes. To sign up for newsletters or place an order on our website can be considered as a concession.
We can use data collected from you in order to make offers, manage, protect and improve our services as well as develop new services.
At the moment we are not offering any membership, which means that you have to fill in all your information every time you shop at us. This is to protect your privacy information, any changes in this area will be informed on our website.
We do not give out or share any information about a client to other partners or third parties (except for information required for effecting an order on our website). In order to protect our clients even more, we have no direct connections with any Social Media and we do not share any information.
In future time you can find information about us on Facebook and LinkedIn, this is only for marketing purposes of the website. However we do not have any direct links to any Social Media from our Website.
INFORMATION ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER
To handle your orders and purchases, to comply with the rules and regulations to which we must adhere, to provide you with customer service we require the following information about you;
Name
Address, phone number and e-mail
Date of birth (for some payment methods)
Payment information and payment history
Information about your order (for example order number, product(s), delivery and invoice adress)
Information you personally provide during your communication with us (for example phone, email, chat)
WHY DO WE DO THIS
We do this with the legal obligation for Completion of the Purchase Agreement; without which, we would be unable to complete our transaction with you.
We do this with the legal obligation to comply with legal obligations; that is to comply with the laws to which we must adhere. The Book-keeping Act is one example as to why we save this information. This information will not be accessible to the customer service department, for example.
We do this with the legal obligation of processing in a way that is necessary to cater to both our and your legitimate interests, in order to answer any questions you may have. We save the information for maximum 3 months from the time your customer service inquiry is closed.
The information can be saved for a longer time period (for example because of a product warranty), from the time both delivery and payment have been processed. This, for the purpose of helping you with potential complaints and returns.
WE DO NOT
We do not track your IP number in order to offer you a personalized site.
We do not gather data by cookies on which products you clicked, or your shoppinghistory.
We do not analyze any data or provide you with product recommendations for other or (similar) products on our site, in which you may be interested.
We do not participate or agree on collecting information about our customers, their social status, children, income, debts etcetera. We strongly believe in peoples integrity and we will never participate in breaking that trust to our customers.
We have a great trust in our customers and we believe that our customers can and will make the right (their own) choices when ordering.
Payment Service Providers
In order to manage payments via the site, we use various payment services. The payment service provider is responsible for their own handling of your personal information and has separate conditions which apply for them. Information regarding their conditions, payment terms and handling of your personal data can be found on each and everyones own website.
Each and every one of our Payment Service Providers will hold their own payment security levels.
In order to enable our Payment Service Providers, we provide information such as order numbers, name, adress and purchase prices. The information is only shared for this purpose and is not sold or forwarded to anyone.
If required of us by law, we can send your data to other recipients, for example government organizations.

Every client have a right to know if any personal data is saved and why. This can be provided through a process known as a registry extract. If you have not registered as a member or wish to receive a complete registry extract, you can contact our customer service and we will be glad to help you.
We want to ensure that your personal information is correct and up-to-date. With that in mind, you have the right to request the correction of inaccurate data about you. If the information you provided changes (for ex. if you change your e-mail address, name or payment information) or if you wish to delete your account, simply contact our customer service.
NB! We do not yet offer any form of membership connected to our Website.
